Alex Thomas

Colby

Hi! My name is Alex Thomas, and I am a senior defenseman on Colby College Women’s Hockey. I am a sociology major at Colby, but I previously was a marketing major at the previous university I attended. I am from Glenview, Illinois. Growing up in Chicago I played hockey for the Chicago Mission, where I won 2 National Championships. I went to high school at Glenbrook South High School where I played lacrosse in the hockey off-season. After 4 years of playing hockey and lacrosse, I chose to just play hockey for LIU. After 2 years at LIU, where I won rookie of the year and we won our conference, I decided I wanted a change and transferred to Colby College.

I am now apart of the Colby Women’s Hockey team and love it so much. I am so grateful for my journey and really want to help the next generation of female hockey players on their own journeys! As a mentor I can help with the college process, provide support, help to create goals, discuss mental health and strategies to help, and so much more! I have been so lucky to have amazing family, teammates, and coaches that have helped me through my hockey journey, so I believe that having mentors is really important. I would love to be your mentor! Please sign up below! I can’t wait to get started!
