Hi everyone! My name is Drew Malatesta and I couldn't be more excited to start my journey with CGM Sports. I am a rising Junior at Middlebury College on the Men’s Ice Hockey Team and Majoring in Economics. I am from Arlington, Massachusetts and graduated from Phillips Andover Academy in 2021. During my high school days, I faced a formidable challenge – to pursue Division 1 hockey while still aspiring to attend a top-notch academic institution like a NESCAC Division 3 school.
The recruiting process turned out to be very unclear and daunting! Trying to manage college tours, many email exchanges with coaches, juggling schoolwork, community service commitments, sports practice, and making time for friends left me feeling overwhelmed at times.
