Hi everyone! My name is Anna Spehr and I am a rising junior at Middlebury College on the women’s lacrosse team. I am originally from Lloyd Harbor, New York. In 2021, I graduated from Cold Spring Harbor High School, where I played lacrosse, soccer, and basketball, before arriving at Middlebury.
During my recruiting process, I decided to direct my focus toward colleges that would offer me a great balance of academics and athletics. The NESCAC league is just that! The 11 schools that make up the NESCAC league prioritize academics while competing at an extremely high athletic level.
My mission is to help high school athletes navigate this exciting process, find the perfect fit in a school, and provide advice and support to those who want to pursue college lacrosse!
As your mentor, I will help you:
Balance the various aspects of the recruiting process including emails, phone calls, and camps.
Gain confidence that will help you approach mental and physical challenges, preparing you for college athletics.
Learn to balance your time efficiently and effectively.
Manage pressures that arise from situations on and off the field.
Find the right fit for you: different leagues, divisions, and schools offer unique opportunities, so finding the right place is important!
