Courtney Colarullo

Maine

Hi!! My name is Courtney Colarullo, I am currently a senior defenseman on the Maine Women’s Ice Hockey team. I’m pursuing a degree in biology with a minor in neuroscience. I am originally from Massachusetts, however I recently just moved right outside of Manchester, NH. Before Maine, I attended the New Hampton School for all 4 years where I additionally played field hockey, softball and lacrosse.

I came up through the East Coast Wizards and Boston Jr Eagles travel teams and ended with NA Elite who I still train with to this day! My hopes through this program is to help aspiring athletes with:

Overall recruiting process

Transition from high school to college

The relationship with yourself as an athlete and person!

Balancing sports, academics, and social life

And honestly any other questions surrounding training, nutrition, wellness etc.

At the end of the day, my class and those of us didn’t have a resource like this and I wish we did! It would have been so beneficial to hear from girls that were playing at the level I wanted to attain. So I hope I can be that resource for anyone who wants to play at the college level!!

Some fun facts about me outside of hockey:

Neuroscience and psychology is something that always has interested me, I like learning how all processes work so that we are able to function and perform the way we do!

I love everything to do with self improvement and development. I think it makes a big impact on yourself as a person but a player as well

I wouldn’t consider Spanish my second language yet because I’m not entirely fluent. But I’ve been learning for a while and it’s what takes up most of my free time outside of hockey and school.

If you would like to sign up you can do that below! I hope to see some of you soon!!
