Ella Huber

Hi! My name is Ella Huber and I am a senior forward for the University of Minnesota. I am majoring in Physical Activity and Health Promotion BS while also pursing all of the medical prerequisites for PA school. I grew up in Northfield, Illinois and played for the Chicago Mission but my family has now recently moved to Minnetonka, Minnesota.

I went to high school at New Trier and played for both my high school hockey and lacrosse teams. I am so grateful that I ended up at the University of Minnesota and have absolutely loved my time as a gopher. The people that I have met at this place have truly been so amazing and I am so grateful for my journey. So, I would love to help out the next generation of hockey players along their own journey.

As a mentor, I would love to help individuals with any challenges they may face and offer support and guidance in any way that I can! My mentorship program will cover but is not limited to any guidance or goal setting for the path to picking one's college, helping to build confidence in oneself, multi-sport athletes, how to be a good leader on your team, as well as just what college hockey really is like.
