Hi Everyone! My name is Megan Woodworth and I am a forward on University of Connecticut’s(UCONN) Women's Ice Hockey team. Academically I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Allied Health Sciences. I am from Berwick, Nova Scotia, Canada and for high school, I attended Kent School in Kent, CT. At Kent School I was a Tri-Varsity Athlete and Captain playing Soccer, Hockey and Lacrosse.
I am excited to be a part of CGM to give back to the younger generations and help build their own stories. I am eager to share all my knowledge that I can offer to help guide you in developing and reaching your goals! With that, as a Mentee, I hope to:
Get to know my mentee personally, in order to help them reach their potential
Provide framework and resources on how to be recruited.
Provide knowledge on off-ice training, nutrition, and recovery.
Help with time management skills to balance athletics and academics
Share resources on how to come back from injuries
Answer any questions you may have!
