Sophie Ensley

Harvard

Hi everyone! My name is Sophie Ensley, I am a sophomore forward on the Harvard Women’s Ice Hockey Team. I am concentrating in psychology at Harvard, with a possible secondary in economics. I am from Sudbury, Massachusetts, and attended the Noble and Greenough school in Dedham Mass, where I played varsity lacrosse, hockey and soccer. I am so excited to work with younger athletes, sharing advice and helping them navigate the recruiting process! In my virtual mentorship, I aim to:

Map out short term and long term goals

Share strategies, and details towards the recruitment process that I wish I had known as a young player

Provide insight on how to manage both academics and athletics

Create support as a mentor for not only the development as a player, but as a person

Emphasize the importance of mental health among student athletes

Help answer questions in regards to any aspects of life! As a player growing up, I always looked up to the older players, and I want to be able to become that role model for younger athletes!

Since resources like CGM didn’t exist when I was younger, I look forward to being able to use such a platform to mentor and help simplify and overcome the challenges the recruiting process creates. Sign up below!!
